I am leaving a review because from the start, my daughter has had a wonderful experience with her doctor. More recently, we needed to contact the on-call physician, Molly. She was fantastic and really helped us with a frustrating problem while also helping us keep our cool. Thank you to everyone at MPG!

THE best Pediatric group in Baltimore. The doctors are excellent clinicians. Both my college age daughters have been patients since birth. A well run office with good communications between providers and patients. Only issue I have had with this practice is that they have contracted out their billing and it takes more investigating to figure out billing.

We started at this practice nearly 9 years ago with Dr. Alan Lake for our infant twins. After Dr. Lake retired, we switched to Dr. Cervenka (who we really like). We now have three kiddos who are patients at MPG and couldn't be happier. They always have time to see a sick child and, if your doctor is not available, you will be able to see either another pediatrician or a nurse practitioner. This flexibility really makes life easier. Also, if there is an issue that requires some discussion with the doctor, we have found that we get return calls/messages quite rapidly. We have never had any issues with the care that we have received at MPG. I am not sure where the complaints about front desk staff are coming from; for the most part we have found them to be very kind, understanding and thoughtful in their interactions with our family. Of course, every practice has one or two folks that are less friendly than others, but we have not encountered any rude or inappropriate behavior from anyone on the staff. We live in Columbia and STILL stay with this practice--that should tell you something about how much we value MPG and the care we receive. I highly recommend this practice!

Our children have been patients here since birth. Dr. Winkelstein is absolutely wonderful with us and the kiddos, she's engaging and keeps them focused during appointments. Our daughter also had a scary metabolic issue until age 5 and she called us throughout every hospital stay and made sure to stay in contact with the attendings at each visit. We really couldn't have asked for more. We also just had a sick visit with Dr. Donahoo, who was also wonderful. I always recommend them to anyone who asks for a pediatrician!

My family has had nothing but great experiences at Maryland Pediatric Group and would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a pediatrician. Conveniently located next to Greenspring Station, we’ve brought our kids here since our twins (now 4) were born. All of the staff, nurses and doctors are very professional and are so great with kids. We love how they focus on providing great care to the kids, but also make it a fun experience with stickers, fish tanks and always take the time to chat with the kids to see how they’re doing. Dr. Donahoo is our favorite and is absolutely amazing with our kids, but all of the doctors and nurses are fantastic.

Dr. Beth Donahoo is a wonderful pediatrician. The MPG is always accommodating when we need to be fit in for sick visits even if it’s not with Dr. Beth we get seen and get a thorough check-up. All of our questions are answered in a timely manner and Dr. Beth does a wildly good job at putting your parent brain at ease when sickness or emergencies arise. All the providers truly know what they are doing and we would highly recommend Maryland Pediatric Group!

This practice is simply the best! We switched from another local pediatric group to MPG a few years ago and are so thankful we did! Dr. Beth Donahoo is extremely patient, kind, and thorough with my children. I’m very impressed with how comprehensive and detailed the well visits are. I’ve always been able to get in for a same day appointment if needed and have been just as impressed with the other providers we’ve encountered while at the practice. Highly recommend!

We have been going to this practice for 8 years, with all three of our children. While we have a primary, I appreciate that we can see any practitioner and any time and they are able to pick right up. The office has served many roles in our life-from cheerleaders to advisors and of course, our go-to when our kids are sick!

Dr. Beth Donahoo is absolutely fantastic! We have two children and have used MPG since they were born. When the children are sick, the hotline and guidance provided have been very efficient, regardless of who is on call that night. Specific to Dr. Beth, she has always been caring, patient with our voluminous question asking, and most importantly, very thorough in her care for our children. Thank you, MPG and Dr. Beth!

My 2 children - ages 3 & 1 - have been seeing Dr. Beth Donahoo since birth. I do not know what we would do without the amazing care that we've received at MPG. Whether its been for check ups or emergencies, I've always been put at ease with the care my son and daughter have received by Dr. Beth! 5/5 recommend !

We absolutely love MPG! We started with the amazing and wonderful Dr. Roskes 10 years ago when my son was born, and we were so lucky to have him as our pediatrician. Upon his retirement, we transitioned to Dr. Cervenka, who has been just as fantastic. Both my son and daughter love going to see him — they always have so much to share, and he takes the time to really listen and connect with them. From the moment you walk in, the front desk staff are friendly and helpful, and the nurses are always kind, patient, and great with kids. Every provider, whether a doctor or Nurse Practitioner we've seen at the practice has been outstanding and have all provided such thoughtful, compassionate care. It's so reassuring to know that I can always get a same-day appointment when one of my kids is sick, and whenever I call with a medical concern, someone always calls back promptly. Everything about this practice is smooth and stress-free. I'm so grateful for the consistent, high-quality care my children receive at MPG!

We have been with MPG since 2020 and they have always taken the best care of my three kiddos! My kids love their well checkups and I love that I can always get them in immediately for a sick visit. The website also has a lot of great resources for patients. We love MPG and especially Dr. Donahoo!

My 2yo has seen Dr. Cervenka since birth. Every experience we’ve had there has been pleasant and professional, from the desk staff to the assistants to the doctors and NPs. Most recently with my newborn, we’ve seen two NPs, Gabby and Kate, due to needing last minute appointments. Both of them were fantastic and made me feel seen and heard. Kate in particular had some great advice about lactation. Despite the clinic being really busy, she didn’t rush through our appointment (which was booked same day late afternoon). Front desk is always accommodating and polite even when busy. Highly recommend this practice.

I have four boys and have been to multiple pediatricians over the years due to moving and insurance changes. This practice is by far the best practice I have ever been to. My children are highly anxious of the doctor in general and love Dr. Cervenka. They will actually agree voluntarily to get a shot after he explains it to them. I am baffled by the negative reviews posted here. The only thing I can imagine is that they took place during COVID which was a difficult time for everyone. One time my husband scheduled and came at the appointment time and was told he missed his appointment which another review mentioned. Also it can be a bit difficult to get through to them. Otherwise , they are above and beyond in every way . The pa mentioned was excellent every time we used her and we are happy to use any of the providers .
