The Kidz Docs

We’ve brought our 3 kids to the KidzDocs over the past 10 years and love and trust the practice. We’ve seen Dr. Remus and Dr. Ferrer primarily, as well as the other doctors and nurses for sick visits. Their staff is intuitive, compassionate, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable. Great for both new parents and seasoned ones.

Love this office! Every provider we’ve seen is top notch in terms of bedside manner, knowledge and communication. Our first appointment was with Dr. Arnold and she was so warm and talented and put all of my first time mom “fears” at ease (we had a NICU baby and were there almost daily for the few weeks). We then began seeing Kathleen Beckman who is an absolute godsend. She helped our daughter through 3 months of BAD reflux/Gerd. In fact, she had so much knowledge and experience that when we saw the GI he had nothing new to offer us aside from a few labs. Both of these providers allowed me to relax during a time that was incredibly stressful to say the least. I knew they had our backs. The nurse line is A++ as well as the nursing staff. We are always able to get an appointment same day if our daughter had something going on - thank you front desk. I just can’t say enough good things about this place and would recommend them to anyone.

I’ve had a great experience with this practice! They were always good, and now with their new location, they’re even better. The space is clean, and they have two separate areas—so when you come in for a wellness visit, your child isn’t exposed to other viruses. My daughter’s pediatrician is Dr. Jenie Ferrer, and she’s always clear about what to expect at each stage of development. When my daughter is sick, Dr. Ferrer is responsive and reassuring. We’ve even been able to schedule same-day sick visits and get seen within hours—honestly, faster than an ER. From our first visit when I was pregnant to now, two years later, our experience has been consistently great.

I recently switched practices to The Kidz Doc because I heard they have doctors on staff that can help kiddos with weight management. My poor kiddo is pre-diabetic, and so while it pained me to be leaving a practice my kids had been at since babies, I went for it. And I’m so so glad I did. First, the office is immaculate. The front desk staff are so friendly and efficient. The nurse who took vitals was very kind. Most importantly Dr Tannous was wonderful. She was very attentive and took her time. She listened to our concerns and worked with us to find a solution we all felt comfortable with. I highly recommend this practice if you’re looking for excellent doctors in a pristine setting.

I was surprised by the negative reviews because I've had only positive experiences with this office, taken my daughter here since she was a baby and she's now 5. They're great. She's seen every doctor and probably every nurse here. Don't pay any mind to the anti-vaccine reviews. They're not interested in basic preventative medicine, apparently. Measles outbreak, anyone?

We absolutely love the doctors/NP's/nurses/techs/front office staff at Kidz Docs. We've been going for over 6 years, since my first was born. Wonderful practice and great customer service.

We have been going here for about a 13 months now - since our first baby was born. We love the Kidz Docs! We love that they have Saturday hours - we haven't found that anywhere close to us. The nurse line has saved us so many times, I often don't even need to go in. Every doctor we've seen has been great to us and all the nurses wonderful to our daughter. We mostly see Dr. Ferrer and she is so kind, helpful, and reassuring as a pediatrician. When we started going to the pediatrician I was having serious PPD and Dr. Ferrer was so helpful to me and eased so many of my fears. I waited until we'd gone here a while before reviewing because our first impression was not great - mostly with calling the front desk to become new patients. They didn't come off as friendly or helpful. It took more questions than I felt necessary to find out what the process was for new patients. As first time parents - we didn't even know what to ask for or what to expect. A process for helping new patients might be helpful. I'm not taking a star off for that because since then, the front desk staff has always been helpful and welcoming when we arrive. Maybe someone was having a bad day on that day.

We love Kidz Docs so much and have trusted our daughter’s care to them for over a decade. Their team is responsive to urgent questions, are great at coordinating care with specialists, and are wonderful advocates. While a robust practice in Old Town, they have a small practice feel and we do not feel like we are just a number. We are seen and cared for every time we come in. We have seen several providers but mainly Dr. Remus and Kathleen Beckman, both of whom are thorough and awesome. Highly recommend.

Dr. Tannous is a great doctor. My daughter has seen her since birth and never fusses. The nurses are also wonderful. My daughter barely cries when she is given her vaccines. Another great thing about this place is their app. You can ask questions online and they will email you back almost immediately. I am not sure why this clinic has received bad ratings but it couldn’t be far from the truth. This group is great for babies and I’m so glad I found them.
